We're Hiring - Mental Health Solicitor Required

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of vulnerable people? We have an excellent opportunity for a Mental Health solicitor and department head.

The new department head will be responsible for delivering high quality legal service on all mental health law and community care matters, and will take a lead role in driving the development and case acquisition for the new department.

Some examples of the case load may include the following, amongst other matters:

  • Assisting clients who have mental health challenges.
  • Providing advice and assistance in relation to community care and housing issues, such as possession proceedings, unlawful eviction and disrepair.
  • Matters such as detention for treatment, guardianship, and community treatment orders.

We are looking for candidates to join on a full-time basis and be based from any of our West Yorkshire offices, with the opportunity for flexible working on agreement.

The ideal candidate will be supervisor qualified, and possess at least 1 years PQE in mental health and/or community care work. They’ll also have excellent interpersonal skills alongside the highest standard of client care; good organisational skills; and the ability to produce consistently high-quality work.

If that is you, we would like to hear from you.

We offer a very competitive package alongside good career development opportunities and a working environment that values and cares for its team members.

We’re already well established in the West Yorkshire region across a wide range of legal disciplines, including Family, Childcare and Private Client, amongst many others. We’ve also held the Law Society’s LEXCEL accreditation for a number of years, and have an excellent reputation within our communities.
