We have an excellent opportunity at our highly respected and rapidly growing West Yorkshire Law Firm for an Experienced Private Client Solicitor to join our team. We are looking for someone to join on a full-time basis working from our Huddersfield Office, with the opportunity for flexible working (on agreement).
What You’ll be doing
- Advising on Wills and estate planning, including drafting Wills tailored to clients’ circumstances.
- Supporting clients with Lasting Powers of Attorney, ensuring appropriate arrangements are in place.
- Handling probate and estate administration matters from instruction through to completion.
- Managing Court of Protection and Deputyship applications where capacity is an issue.
- Advising on care home fee planning to help clients plan for long-term care.
- Providing inheritance tax planning advice to help minimise liabilities.
About You
You will be an experienced Private Client Solicitor with a solid background in matters such as Wills, probate, and estate administration. You’ll be confident managing your own caseload independently, while also working collaboratively as part of a wider team.
You will have excellent client care skills, with the ability to communicate complex matters in a clear, empathetic, and professional way. A proactive and organised approach is essential, along with strong attention to detail.
Prior Private Client experience is essential for this role.
