We’re delighted to announce the promotion of Phoebe Walsh to Senior Associate Solicitor, the latest in a series of recent promotions that reflect our continued investment in our people and future.
Phoebe graduated from Sheffield Hallam University in 2018 before completing her Legal Practice Course at the University of Law in Leeds in 2019. She joined JWP as a Trainee Solicitor later that year, gaining experience across several departments before qualifying as a Solicitor in August 2021.
Having discovered her passion for Child Care Law, Phoebe has gone on to develop extensive experience in complex matters, regularly conducting advocacy before Magistrates, District Judges and Circuit Judges throughout Yorkshire. She represents parents, grandparents and other family members in care proceedings and is also Children Panel accredited, enabling her to represent children directly within proceedings.
Having recently returned to the team after spending a year travelling across Australia, Phoebe has wasted no time in making a significant impact. Her promotion to Senior Associate Solicitor marks the next chapter in a career that has gone from strength to strength since joining the firm in 2019.
This promotion recognises Phoebe’s dedication to her clients and the significant contribution she continues to make to the Child Care Department.
Congratulations to Phoebe on this well-deserved achievement, and we wish her every success as she continues her career at JWP.
