We’re delighted to announce the promotion of Sophie Metcalfe to Salaried Partner, recognising her dedication to the firm and commitment to clients over more than a decade with the business.

Sophie’s promotion follows a series of recent senior appointments across the firm, reflecting our ongoing commitment to recognising talent and supporting career progression.

Sophie joined the team in March 2015 as a Trainee Solicitor after previously working as a Paralegal at a large Leeds law firm. During her training contract, Sophie gained valuable experience across a number of departments before discovering her passion for Child Care Law.

She qualified into the Childcare Department in September 2016 and has since established herself as a respected member of the team, representing parents and grandparents in Public Law Child Care Proceedings before Magistrates, District Judges and Circuit Judges.

Commenting on her promotion, Sophie said:
