We are delighted to announce that Narinder Rathour has been promoted to Head of the Criminal Department this month.

A Wealth of Experience in Criminal Defence
Narinder studied at Leeds Metropolitan University before completing his Legal Practice Course in 2000. He began his legal career as a Crime Paralegal before securing a training contract and qualifying as a solicitor in 2004. He went on to build a wealth of experience working exclusively in criminal law, developing a strong reputation for his expertise, professionalism, and dedication to client care.
In 2018, Narinder brought his extensive experience to the JWP Criminal Department.
High Court Advocate with a Proven Track Record
Narinder qualified as a High Court Advocate in 2010, enabling him to represent clients in the most serious cases before the Crown Court and beyond. Throughout his career, he has worked on highly complex and high-profile matters, including:
- Murder cases
- Serious sexual offence allegations
- Complex fraud prosecutions
- Terrorism cases
- International matters, including extradition proceedings from the USA
- Appeals before the Court of Appeal against sentence
His experience handling cases of this magnitude demonstrates both his legal skill and his ability to guide clients through some of the most challenging periods of their lives.
